    A Western Electric beige short, aka STD handset cord. In particular the WE beige color code -60. Authentic Western Electric (Bell System). Works on Trimline models 205 210 210M 220 230 230M, Princess, 500 (rotary desk), 554 (rotary wall), 2500 (touch tone desk), 2554 (touch tone wall), and many others. Each is new in a plastic bag. The bag is beat up. Packaging may vary, but it is a Western Electric / Bell System cord.
    Please note: Ivory and beige were and still are often confused.
    This cord has a lot of pink tint to it

    The maximum
    practical
    working length of this cord is 4 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 9 inches long,
    NOT 6 FEET
    . Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 6 foot cord because 6 feet of material goes into the curling machine.
    Western Electric went by a standard that "LONG" meant 12 feet and "STD (standard) meant 6 feet. Later, "LONG" came to mean a 25 foot cord.
