    Relaxed the curly part of the cord is about 14 inches long. Add another 6 or 7 inches on each end for the uncurled part.
    Please note:
    Beige is often confused with Ivory. This cord is the Bell System beige color code -60. It has a lot of pink tint to it. The ivory cord (not this one) has no pink tint.

    thick, i.e. "fat" like some of the very old cords.
