I am selling my 2002 Chevy Corvettewith auto transmission.
The car is not perfect. I bought it ata discount a few years ago because it had a few issues that I knew Icould live with and I didn't want to spend the money to fix thoseissues since it drove fine. If you are expecting a perfect car thisis not for you. If you are looking for a car that is a blast todrive but you can live with some mechanical and cosmetic issues thenthis is the car for you.
When I bought it the car came with aBorla exhaust and a dual cold air intake.
I am listing all the issues I can thinkof as well as showing as many photos to show the true condition ofthe car. It always had a small oil leak near the back of the engineand a small oil leak at the differential. And check engine lightswould come on from time to time. I am including a car cover that isnot in perfect condition and a battery tender as well.
I had a local repair shop look at thecar and they listed the following items. Again, I have had theseissues since I had the car and have had no driveability issues.
1. Upper and lower oil pan needs to beresealed
2. Rear main seal needs to be replaced
3. Differential seals need to bereplaced
4. Transmission pan gasket needs to beresealed
5. Clock spring needs to be replaced(this causes the airbag light code B0026 to stay on)
6. Right side fuel level sender andfilter need to be replaced (when below a half tank of gas the
gas gauge goes to zero)
7. Angle sensor needs to be replaced
8. Steering wheel sensor needs to bereplaced (C1287 code)
9. Fix evap leak (PO 410 and PO 440code)
One of the previous owners had thefront bumper repainted at one time. The color is a bit off from therest of the car and peeling has started in a couple spots. The sideshad body side mouldings that were falling off the car. When I pulledthem off some paint was pulled off as well. I had both those areaspainted and blended. The sides are the best looking areas of thecar. The hood, hatch and roof have started to fade and the clearcoat is breaking down. The February winter storm here in Texasexpedited that process. I was never going to repaint the car, again,something I was willing to live with.
These are the things I've done or haddone:
1. Replaced interior lighting with LEDbulbs
2. Removed the stock stereo and allspeakers and replaced with new stereo and speakers
3. Added stainless steel letterinserts in the rear bumper
4. Corvette flag decal on steeringwheel.
5. New auto shift knob
6. New fuel rail covers
7. New driver and passenger sun visors
8. Had the ABS/Tracking Control Modulerepaired by MyAirbags
9. Got a 2nd remote and key (VATS #9key code)
10. Replaced the headliner
11. New battery (Autozone)
12. Replaced driver side headlightgear with a brass gear. Passenger side is still original
13. I also had the harmonic balancerreplaced with a PowerBond brand harmonic balancer.
I just washed and waxed it and recentlygot a new Mobil 1 oil change.  Despite my best attempts at picture taking the dull and faded spots on the hood, roof and hatch did not show up well.
The buyer is responsible for pickup or arranging pickup and delivery.
