Where to begin....
This C5 started as a road going car and was converted for track use by Henry Gilbert of Performance Driving Group, Gilbert Racing, and Sports Car Driving Experience. This chassis never saw any significant race wins, but was entered into the following:
2002 SCCA GT World Challenge - Finished 34th
2002 SCCA National Championship Runoffs Touring 1
Racing Sports Cars
2004 Rolex 24 considered entry list
2003 Grand American Champions Weekend - DNS
2004 Daytona 24 entry list
It is believed to have been raced in several other SCCA events during the early 2000's and later used for coaching and instruction.
In September of 2007 the vehicle was sold to its current owner in Noblesville, IN. The new owner and Henry have an ongoing relationship and have stayed in contact since taking possession. The current didn't fare to well on his first outing. While at Putnam Park in early 2008, a piston ringland failed and damaged the pistons and block which required an engine overhaul. Now comes the fun part! The vehicle currently has only seen a couple outings at Putnam Park with a couple sessions totaling less than two hours of track time since services were completed in 2009!

After sitting for the last two years, vehicle was trailered to Automotive Specialists for a couple passes on the Dyno. With two year old gas and in need of an oil change, the vehicle put down a solid 414.83whp and 390.41 ft-lbs of torque on a hot 92 degree day with humidity at 90%.
Vehicles was then trailered to The Car Vault in Brownsburg, IN for complete inspection. The following services were performed:
