The second-generation Corvette introduced the world to a brand-new automotive experience. The design language and performance were previously unseen at the Corvette's price point. The radically designed fiberglass body sat upon a highly tuned race-inspired chassis and a new fully-independent suspension system. The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette offered is an excellent example of the Sting Ray and has been treated to significant restorative work and mechanical enhancements. The Rally Red over black leather interior is a classic color combination that perfectly suits the Sting Ray coupe's aggressive styling. The exterior benefits from the addition of a side-pipe exhaust and polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sports. The interior was reupholstered with high-quality OEM materials. The cabin retains a factory look but has been upgraded with Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges, a Hurst short-throw shifter, and a leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel. Under the hood lies a Chevy 350 crate engine sending approximately 350 horsepower to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. Just 196 miles have been added since the engine swap. This C2 has been fully worked through to ensure reliability and performance. Factory interior trim, wheels, and side pipes will be included in the sale of this vehicle.
